Kroenke Sports and Entertainment announced Tuesday that it has agreed to acquire the Los Angeles Angels from owner Arte Moreno.

The transaction is slated to close in early 2027, according to the company statement reported by LAist.

Stan Kroenke’s firm already owns the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams, Arsenal of the English Premier League, the NBA’s Denver Nuggets, the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche and Major League Soccer’s Colorado Rapids.

The purchase ends Arte Moreno’s 20-year period of ownership of the Angels.
