A single-vehicle collision on Interstate 80 near the California-Nevada border left a tractor-trailer hanging from a bridge on Friday morning, according to ABC7 Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol reported that all lanes were closed near Floriston in Nevada County, with traffic diverted at Hirschdale Road. Images from the scene showed the trailer on its side and the truck cab suspended over the edge of the overpass.
Caltrans personnel detached the truck from the trailer in the afternoon and reopened most lanes within a couple of hours. The cause of the crash has not been determined, and it remains unknown whether anyone was injured.
