Los Angeles authorities engaged in a pursuit of a suspect driving a reportedly stolen SUV through South Los Angeles on Thursday night, according to ABC7 Los Angeles.
The driver paused at a red light, enabling officers to position a spike strip directly ahead of the vehicle.
The individual then exited the white Mercedes SUV and appeared to yell while gesturing toward police before returning to the vehicle and resuming flight, with aerial units monitoring the scene.
