Four people died when a car went off a cliff on Highway 2 near Wrightwood early Friday morning.
The California Highway Patrol logged the crash just before 1:30 a.m. at Flume Canyon Road, with only one vehicle involved in the incident.
The car came to rest in a meadow after leaving the roadway, and responders needed 40 feet of cable to reach those inside.
No information has been released about the events leading to the crash, according to ABC7 Los Angeles.
